Founded in 2016 in Auckland, New Zealand, NZeno is a biotechnology company focused on developing pig derived products for human xenotransplantation. The company has a Designated Pathogen Free (DPF) pig facility with pigs that are free of infectious agents relevant for clinical xenotransplantation and derived from the same herd that has supplied pig cells for human xenotransplantation in studies approved by the New Zealand government in consultation with the US FDA and the Center for Disease control, CDC USA. NZeno’s high health status pigs have a safety record in humans extending more than 10 years.

The Company through years of independent research and development, with pig cell gene editing, testing, cloning for xenotransplantation, is currently establishing an international headquarters in Hong Kong, to extend its R&D capability in xenotransplantation technologies and clinical applications. NZeno expects to develop a series of medical grade xenografts from pig cells, tissues, organs to provide safe and effective medical solutions for patients worldwide.
